Prior to being admitted to the musicube academy, an application and a screening test are required. Admission to a particular program is dependent on the applicants prior knowledge and experience. In this regard, certain programs have higher standards than others.
To properly determine an applicants qualifications, an application that includes a CV, musical development and portfolio samples is necessary. The portfolio samples can be audio tracks, sheet music, or film samples, depending on the applicable program.
After the portfolio samples have been evaluated, applicants will be notified by the musicube academy.
If the initial documents and samples are satisfactory, a screening test can then be arranged. During the screening test, an applicants abilities in the subjects of general music, harmony, ear training, and rhythm will be examined.
Participation in the Bachelor or Master of Music programs is subject to an aptitude test. The Film Scoring and Production program is the recommended preparation for the test to gain admission to the Bachelor of Music in Film Score Composition and Production course of study.
Admission to the Master of Music in Film Score Composition and Production graduate program is dependent on the successful completion of the musicube academy’s Bachelor of Music in Film Score Composition and Production, or a passing final exam following the Advanced Film Scoring and Production program along with a Bachelor’s degree in music or audio engineering from another recognized institution.
